I Was The Lighthouse

I was the lighthouse in the fog that first evening,
I played a song so silently out to the sea,
Sometimes there's boats and birds and things ignoring me,
silently, passively waiting for you to find me
I was a turncoat to the wolves who sheltered me,
But I still howl sometimes, It's lovely to be free,
But now my coat is dirty, memories can be mean,
Silently, passively waiting for you,
Seemingly longingly waiting for you to find me,
We built a house inside the snow,
A humble shelter to call home,
We hunt under a moonlit sky,
And once a lighthouse I don't mind,
I've seen the stars and all the lights,
The ones who sing to me at night,
All while I wander like a ghost,
And I believe I'm getting close

You Were The Satellite

You grew up as a boy with your name spelt the wrong way,
I saw you once before but I only hide my face,
There's nothing there to haunt you, you seem to know your place,
I never would guess that one day you'd leave for space
You were the flowers in the sea, Water on the leaves,
Flying over all the seven seas, seeing everything,
I've seen you only once a year, then you disappear,
Your orbit watering my seeds, sleepy circling
We grew along the walls, we were vines inside our minds,
You've orbited this place, and at first I didn't mind,
Just please don't let the trajectory change,
I could not ask for more when your signal's within range,
I think it's in range
You were the flowers in the sea, Water on the leaves,
Flying over all the seven seas, seeing everything,
I've seen you only once a year, then you disappear,
Your orbit watering my seeds, sleepy circling

Oh, Fantasy
06:02

Thinking back I must have been asleep, Or in a dreamy state of bliss,
Oh Fantasy,
Driving hours down the highway just to see the face of greener things,
Oh memory,
Unity by separation seems illogically and literally
just crazy,
I keep anchoring in shallow seas, with floating leaves from willow trees,
So comely
Get to know me, sprawl out on the sheets, I swear they're clean, So sang the sea,
Oh woe is me,
Emulating Hibernating fakes, albino snakes, with god we grace
the sacred place,
captured on the interlacing frames, the highest stakes you could embrace,
Oh Fantasy,
I cry out into the evening sky, I don't know why you're on my mind,
Time flying by,
You drove up to ease my state of mind because you're kind, And I rewind
All of the time,
Blowing winds are traveling this way, to seize the day, and my embrace,
Oh razor blade
captured on the interlacing frames, the highest stakes you could embrace,
Oh Fantasy,
I cry out into the evening sky, I don't know why you're on my mind,
Oh Fantasy,

If i was in the sky with you by my side, We'd voyage the Pleiades,
If you were in the sand holding my hand, we'd laugh at the ships as they land,
Who needs distance, we have hearts
Love can travel through time,
Just look in my eyes,
You'll see what you need to see,
I don't mind all the space,
You're in a bigger place,
And someday to you I'll race
I would trade off my light to sleep for a night, and dream of your fragile voice,
As you're reading to me about things you've seen, over on your side of the gate,
Wardrobe take me to that place
Love can travel through time,
Just look in my eyes,
You'll see what you need to see,
I don't mind all the space,
You're in a bigger place,
And someday to you I'll race
So I wrote you this song,
So no matter how long,
Someday you will know just how I feel,
So my signals will fly
into the dark sky,
and maybe they'll break this cloudy night,
And I waited so long,
Where have you gone?
And that's when the lion eats the fawn,
Then one day up above,
searching for love,
That's when I found out you changed your mind
